Or you could wait a few months until they appear on eBay for a third of those prices.
Some say he was the Stig... all we know is that he drives a VW Transporter.

Suffice to say I opted to not take any of their genuine accessory options. Agreed - very pricey.

I've seen the genuine alloy pedal caps for around $90 delivered from germany on ebay already so in the next few months we should see more discounts on accessories

$140 for a boot mat is a bit rough.
Does anyone know the price of the body kit bits?

Anyone know of any other decent OEM accessory sites based in AU or US? I'm eyeing up a set of Aspen 15" alloys but trying to do better than $800 through local dealers.

I'm also looking out for these as well, didn't get them priced either.

Has anyone installed an LED number plate light and would they recommend any for the MK7 ?

Nah, I got sunroof, driver assist, roof bars, bike carriers, roof box and mats.
For some reason they didn't try to upsell the accessories. If it wasn't for the VW UK website, I wouldn't have known about most of the gear on offer.

Has anyone looked into tow bars? Not planning on towing anything particularly heavy, but the ability to take a load of garden cuttings for recycling, tow the bins out to the road, put a bike carrier on the back, etc is something I'm looking for.

Has anyone actually rang a VW parts department for the prices?.... most the time the car calesmen will put a BIG... and sometimes i mean BIG markup on the accessories.
deal direct with the parts dept.
Example...with one of my golfs the sales staff wanted $290 for 4 floor mats, i walked over to the parts dept and paid 175.
