I have ordered identical to you except for the tint and am getting it for $45,000 even...Got $25,000 for my MY12 MK6 GTI as a trade with 37k on the speedo

I have placed an order for DSG, Driver Assistance, Tint for $46k flat. No trade-in. I guess that's ok. I wonder if there is much difference for pricing between states? I'm from Sydney.

I am doing a novated lease on mine so I got the lease company to negotiate the price with their preferred suppliers over here in the West

I had a silver one that I ordered with dsg and Driver assist and owned it for 14 hours and took it back to the dealer for a refund as they stuffed up the order as it didn't have driver assist on it.

They said the vehicle is due to arrive in may/June as it's a 14 built. I am still to decide on this deal as others are getting even better deals.

Selling a car with the wrong specs is a pretty bad stuff up man. Glad to hear the let u take it back.

Very disappointing. I read about your previous post regarding this. Which dealership was it? (If we're allowed to disclose it here).

That really sucks. So what will you do now as didn't you trade your mk 6 GTI as part of the deal?

They kept my MK6 and have it on the lot for sale now. I am now going through a preferred dealer of my novating lease company. The dealer that stuffed up have lent me a used tiguan until my new car arrives mid-late feb 2014 for the inconvenience they have caused me

everything but the colour..have to settle for white instead of silver...would have to wait till may if I wanted silver

This probably sounds like a strange question, but does anyone feel that their GTI's drivers seat doesn't go forward far enough?

I'm 184cm tall and my wife is 174, and we've got the seat in the furthest forward position it goes. If we "pump up" the seat its fine, but if i lower it to the bottom setting, its too far from the pedals. I've had 2 golf 6's and a golf 5 and the drivers seat goes MUCH further forward.

Is there something wrong with my drivers seat or has anyone else noticed the same. If i have to, i can pop down to a dealer on the weekend just to sit in a car to see if its any different to mine, but the nearest dealer is a bit of a trek away so i'd like to avoid it if possible
