Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Nice! Black & white slimline plates finish it off nicely on white/black/grey GTI's.

    You can hardly notice the gap with a dark background anyway. If it annoys you, I think a member here (mattaus) modified theirs (I think they removed the Euro backplate completely).

      how does $57k drive away for a new DSG golf R sound? (~$4k of that is govt transfer/rego)

      this is with no sunroof or other options.

            Picked up our GTI performance 2 weeks ago, and I have to say, it's amazing how much the car has improved since the mk6

                    Picked up my Golf R today, both excited and anxious as its my first euro car and DSG coming from a manual honda (everything is at the wrong place)!

                              ^ I'd always thought the R should be in Lapiz Blue, but that shade of grey looks the goods. Congrats.

                                It was out of the lapiz blue and the limestone grey. I am very very happy with my choice. Thanks mate.
