Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi All,

    So my order for door sil's and boot sil came in from Amazon uk.

    I must say it was worth it due to it's price, purpose and even looks. Cost me roughly $50 Aus including shipping.

          Thanks for letting us know about these, these will come in handy especially the bumper protector. I managed to find the same ones on eBay for half the price (apologies if I sound like Im rubbing that in).

            Do they stick on with adhesives? Any idea if removal is going to be an issue a few years down the road?

              It's a shame they have that carbon fibre look - I really hate that. I just want plain black that will match the surrounding trim and not draw attention. And no names. Yet they look so practical.
