Just purchased a shiny new Mk7 Golf GTI in carbon steel. $45,990 drive away from Sutherland VW. I'll be picking it up either this weekend or early this week!!! Can't wait to join the Golf Club, i'm upgrading from a 2012 Polo GTI.

No options, just auto and metallic paint. My budget didn't stretch to leather unfortunately

Congrats mate. What made you decide to upgrade? Were you not happy with the PoG?

With great trepidation given the Mk6 118TSI experience, just signed up for Mk7 Diesel Highline wagon with driver assist (good), leather (good) and sunroof (good for Hobart maybe, but we're in Perth) in white. $29000 changeover, only one with similar specs in Perth at present.
Now, what's a waste box and where does it rattle?

Congrats mate. What made you decide to upgrade? Were you not happy with the PoG?

The PoG was great, absolutely loved it, but I wanted to sell while there was warranty on it, and the oil consumption was getting to me!

Now the nervous owner of possibly the first Mk7 wagon out of captivity in Perth. One the basis of one day's run in the valley, this is the car I was after last time, when we got a 118TSI because no diesels were around. No one paid much attention to the wagon - they probably all thought it was a Passat.

Not so sure about panoramic sunroofs in Perth in 38 degrees, and quite sure about not liking SS spare, but otherwise looking promising. See the Mk7 wagon thread for more details.

GTI in carbon steel on order with only the DSG option ticked this time around.. happy with the extra standard kit on the mk7. Sounds like a 2-3 week wait.

Can anyone suggest how much I should be looking at paying for a VW Golf 103TSI Highline in a 2014 build? I am not in a hurry to buy, and I am happy to wait for the new builds to start coming through, but I am not sure how much more I should be paying given they won't be included in the current $31 990 promotion.
I really want the Driver Assist Package (extra $1300) also.
Also, what is the cheapest a Highline 2013 build date has sold for? Anyone got a crazy bargain recently?

you should be able to get the driver assist 2 with that drive away price i think, make sure you visit a few dealers and find the best one!

Woohoo, just emailed my dealer and he advised that my car is built! I have the VIN so time to track away!!

My car departed BREMERHAVEN on March 1 and ETA is April 9
Cant wait!
