$27,800 with Driver Assist. Not too bad a deal.

I'm surprised they sold you a demo with that number of KMs on the clock. I thought that Highlines were in short supply and as a consequence, demos had to be kept for 3 months minimum?

There are a LOT of Highlines around at a majority of the Melbourne dealerships. Often seen at least half a dozen sitting on their lots, with more generally inside the showroom or sitting near by. VW will definitely try shifting a lot of would be Comfortline customers onto the Highline over the next few months until more stock comes in.

That is a very good price, I'm surprised you got it that cheap when the current Highline promotions are $31,990 drive away for MY13 vehicles.
There are certain vehicles which are eligible for additional factory backed discounts if they are plated early 2013.

Where did you purchase yours from and what are the build and compliance dates?

Well I ended up letting go of my factory order as the 2 month wait so far was excruciating, plus we wanted leather as well. I ended up ordering a Highline on the current promotions so should be 3-4 weeks till we get the car. Woohooo! Just need the VIN number so I can go and order some Remsa brake pads.

Well I'm guessing my GTI is on the ""Äniara"". This is the only ship I could find with an arrival date in Fremantle near the 27th of March. My car was built on 7 Feb and I have the VIN but WW website is down and or has no records yet

Mine was a week 5 build, what was yours and what spec did you get?

The dealer said it was built on the 7th of Feb, so that's Week 6. It's Red with everything except leather....hence the wait. All vehicles first imported had sunroof AND leather options fitted.

Yahooo, picked up the car yesterday afternoon. It rained a bit last night which was good as I discovered the windscreen wipers smeared on the drivers side, right in the line of sight. Dropped by the service centre and had them changed over within a few minutes. The rest of the car is great, glad Carmelle from Hawthorne was able to get the car so quickly! Luckily I have no other issues such as the waste gate rattle.
Just need paint protection and tint now, can't wait!

Noticed on their in stock webpage that they just listed 16 of these Comfortline DSGs for $27,790.

Can anyone suggest how much I should be looking at paying for a VW Golf 103TSI Highline in a 2014 build? I am not in a hurry to buy, and I am happy to wait for the new builds to start coming through, but I am not sure how much more I should be paying given they won't be included in the current $31 990 promotion.
I really want the Driver Assist Package (extra $1300) also.
Also, what is the cheapest a Highline 2013 build date has sold for? Anyone got a crazy bargain recently?
