Handover was alright. Took awhile but most of the things he told me about, i've already done my homework on this forum, just couldn't wait to drive it!

Wanted a freebie umbrella but was refused because apparently we've got one of the best price around. I still wanted the umbrella! LOL

Really good. It felt a little slow to start with but it just may be because my old car was a rocket.
Did a run down to Goolwa last week through Echunga and Meadows and was really happy with it on the windy roads.
The tech stuff on the car takes a bit to get used to. Especially the start stop.

Now that is really cheap by the dealer !!!!

No matter how tight the profit was, and I am guessing that it was in thousands of dollars after rebates and incentives, that a $20 umbrella at cost was beyond them.

When we picked up our Passat we were presented with the customary bottle of bubbles and flowers.

It is just bad form and PR.

Yeah, it's really easy to drive around Ads. I had an 07 XT forester and before that an 01 WRX. Don't get me wrong, the golf has enough power for daily driving. It may not be too long until there's a GTI in the driveway though

yea, i agree. definitely feels a little slow starting up but i guess it needs getting used to. scratched my alloys today for the first time while doing a side park. darnnnn i need to get use to park assist and use it. lol

can't wait to make a run down to victor soon. was at melbourne over the weekend and man, so many more golf 7s around!

did the vw questionnaire email about vw service and delivery. the dealer was actually asking us not to do it if we weren't satisfied with their service because it'll give them a bad name. if they gave me the umbrella i'll probably consider...lol but nope, so done and dusted now.

Lol, they don't owe you an umbrella - you purchased a car and I'm sure not at RRP either. If they did everything right by you in terms of a car purchasing experience, then they deserve good feedback.

What ash tray cup thingy are you referring to? LOL the roller door cover?

EDIT: Ah I think I know what you mean, you mean the 12V charge cover?

It's a black cup thing. Sits in one of the cup spot in the central console.

Maaaan! I did that to my forester rims in the first month too. Been lucky so far though, touch wood.
I'm surprised that I don't see more 7's getting around. They are a great car.

Definitely a great car! Took the car out for a practice run of side parking with park assist just now. Pretty happy to let it do it's job. Can't wait to see more golf 7 around.

You mean parallel parking, right? Was never called side parking when I did my licence anyway...long time ago now.
