Not much - Traffic (TMC), Indicators (4 Blinks) and Nag screen off. I will do more over time as I find things that annoy me

Android auto will not display on the speedo screen, only on the central discover pro screen. So if you use Google maps nav you will not be able to have it displayed in front of you. Also, you cant have the speed signs displayed on the speedo screen either, it only seems to be displayed on the central discover pro screen.

Regarding the speed signs being picked up by cameras, yes it does work, although i dont think its activated in australia. I thought mine was updating quite fast. although after doing some testing, im pretty sure its working on GPS location.

Does the TMC work well for you? Ive thought of activating it, but not sure if its worth showing a flash just for that.

Doesn't the Audi version do that though? Seems odd that they'd leave it off the VW version if so.

I've activated both TMC and the "Dynamic Road Sign Display" (speed limits) through OBDeleven and both work fine and display in the AID.

TMC will show the coloured lines for traffic congestion on the AID while on the Discover Pro screen you get that plus warning signs that can be touched on for more information about the delays.

The Dynamic Road Sign Display works through the camera at the top of the windscreen. It is working ok with the new electronic signs on Citylink in Melbourne. The only problem I've found is in school zones where they display the lower limit and the times applicable - so it just shows 40 as the permanent speed limit.

Thinking of getting an OBDeleven rather than rely on independent to make changes with VCDS. Any reason to think OBDeleven can't do nag screen off fix? Curious if OBDeleven can do anything VCDS can do.

I have a VCDS cable so I haven't used OBDeleven, but from what I have read I would be very surprised if you can't do it with OBDeleven.

How do you view trip duration (mins) on the dash?

but you can use the tune in app via carplay and stream pretty much any station in the world.

There’s a video on YouTube with a Melbourne guy and he’s showing how VW maps don’t show traffic and he uses Apple Maps but when he uses Apple Maps on Car Play VW Maps don’t display in the dash. Then suggests that Google Maps is better. I’d be frustrated with all that tech that doesn’t talk to each other or one can do it all.
