Good review Adam, I felt exactly the same way after I got out of the R after test drive, huge grin on my face, felt like a 10 year old who'd just ridden a rollercoaster for the 1st time (particularly post launch control :0 ) Its an incredible car and the consensus is that the ride whilst sporting and firm is still comfortable (sorry WJ). I'm also in the Lapiz Club (leather and assistance), iI suspect our R's are on the same boat the Carmen its due in to Melbourne on Friday

Mine is on the Carmen too - Lapiz Blue fully optioned. What date are you expecting to be ready at the dealer?

RD, Carmen docks in Melbourne on Friday: dealer expects it 1-2 weeks after (dependent on how busy they are at Port going thru compliance etc) so in Bendigo by May 13 too hopefully

Dealer has told me approx May 12-13 but he gave me that date when he expected the ship to arrive today. Not too far away either way but still too long!

Me and a colleague picked up our Rs from Robina Volkswagen earlier this evening. His is black with leather and driver assist and mine is white standard spec. There was also a limestone grey in the showroom with everything on it. It was pretty cool to see three sitting together in the showroom.

Anyone looking for a top deal and even better service would be well advised to deal with Michael Goldsworthy, the Sales Manager who made our buying experience incredibly easy. Top bloke.

It has given me time to find the wheels I like. Have ordered a set of 19x8.5" Ultraleggera's in matt graphite silver - due to arrive pretty much the same time as the car is ready. My detailer is fully booked for now so opticoat happens first week of June
