A couple more really bad phone shots. Better pics to follow off camera in due course, hopefully got a cruise or two coming up with some good locations to choose from.
One thing I do like on the Mk7 is the more squat rear end, it's been criticised in some quarters but I am a fan. And I see it a lot as its visible through the rear glass door at work.
The Austins also work a whole lot better than the tired Detroits, but like Lemonskin I am planning a change already.

I bought my Mk6 CSG 2 door second hand with boy racer wheels and ended up fitting some repro mk7 wheels similar to the factory ones above. The body styling on the mk6 isn't as angular as the mk7 but I think it works well. For $800 I can't complain.
Also lowered and APR exhaust, among other things

Haha, don't think it matters, that looks pretty good.

I took the photo of the bridge last Friday. It was one of the best sunrise I have seen. I loved it so much that I photoshop the car onto the the image. I should have mention it. That is the Wollaston bridge in Western Victoria.
I do not drive the can in auto mode. After having a manual R. I find auto mode pretty boring. I use the paddles all the time now and love it.
