Hi all, I have a 2013 103TSI (Engine code CHPA) with 72,000km. Despite the low-ish KMs, the previous owners drove it around Sydney in the worst stop-start conditions. I'm only planning to hold onto this car for another 1-2 years.
The car makes a grinding sound when taking off from a standstill and often makes an awful juddering noise and vibration in 2nd gear uphill. OBDeleven shows code P177B00 "Clutch 1 tolerance limit reached". So clearly I'm up for a new clutch.
On this box (0AM) is it typical for the DMF to require replacement at the same time? Would another code be present for DMF failure?
I reduce costs, I am thinking of supplying parts to the mechanic. Is the LuK Clutch Kit LuK RepSet 2CT a solid product?
