Hi guys, I know I'm being pretty active with starting posts, but I'm really loving the car, and just wanna start getting myself towards stg 3...myvquestuon is, has anyone here put on one of the Ebay Fmic? The one I'm looking at has the same dimensions as the Wagner one, but at like half the price! So yh, just curious if anyone has installed one, and what their experience was like.. Thanks [emoji4]

Buy an established make before an ebay special. IE, CTS or Wagner all have been used extensively on stage 3 cars. No point in fitting random parts and then having to redo the job because something didnt perform well enough.

The stock MK7 GTI intercooler leaves a lot to be desired, and has been made to a very low price/quality point. Literally anything would be an upgrade, but if you are going to bother, may as well do it right - especially if you think you will go to stage 3 one day.

Ok, yeah thanks guys for the replies, just found a 12month old IS38 for $600,possibky could be a good fit till I go something bigger... Has anyone got experience with Mamba hybrid IS38?
