  • Golf Mk7 Heater not working

Hi Guys i've got a problem with my mk7 tsi. When it's cold and i put it on heat it pretty much blows cold air, if i drive it for a bit and I run the fan on low i get a bit of lukewarm air but as soon as i turn the fan up it blows cold air.
My car is warming up ok and my coolant level is good. Car is coming up to temp and there are no fault codes that i've scanned with my OBD.
I've reset my HVAC flaps and i don't hear any grinding/clicking or anything from my dash.

    Ideas?

    Cheers

        not really
I'm in sydney so it doesn't really get cold enough to worry too much about it

it DOES blow enough heat especially after cornering enthusiastically
gotta get my Tiguan sorted before I start to worry about the golf

@clinton: hmm......... of course anything is possible and it's best not to generalize with remote diagnostics on forums like this - but for no other reason than it's an easy try - maybe you might want to give this a go:

Please don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the wider expertise of other forum members! Thank you.
