    MK7 Golf R AC/Heater Not Working (climate control)

    Hi all,

    I recently purchased a 2014 Golf R and the AC/heater has stopped working. All functions are available on the climate control however, turning the the fan off with the dial does not turn the blower on. Heated seats also dont work.
    Fault codes show errors in communication.

    Fuses have been checked.

    This was an intermittent issue before it completely stopped working. The interior fans would come on randomly, with the climate control off and no user input could turn it off or change it.

    I have purchased a second hand climate control and installed that/re-coded to suit. Blower still doesnt work, heated seats do however the unit is only half lit and doesnt seem to be working properly.

    Has anyone experienced this before? Any ideas what it could be? Is there relays in the system that may be faulty. I am struggling to find information on it.

        hm....... lots of "aged" errors with low Malfunction Frequency counter numbers. Did you change the module on 02/02/21? Bulk clear the errors and re-post another scan copy - this time without any edits Don

              no problem - that's better! When you replaced the hex08 module, did you replicate the long-code string and the adaptation channel values from the old module into the new module? - because the DTCs suggest that new module is missing data messages? Don
