Stock Golf R 7.5 crackle VS APR 2 *Pops and bangs* ?

Hi guys,

I have a 7.5 R which comes from stock with a subtle crackle/pops and bangs map if changed to RACE MODE and Sport.

I was curious if this is this the same as the APR stage 2 /w Pops and Bangs ?


I currently have a milltek catback but would like to make the crackle more pronounced.

You’ll need a DP to run a stage 2 file.

Should be able to get pops and bangs in either stage 1 or stage 2.

Plenty of YouTube clips of these.

Most tuners can do it these days. APR is a fixed file (not customisable) whereas some other tuners can increase/decrease the amount of crackle map to your personal taste (or distaste).
