Only the performance upgrade gets the 7 speed dq 381 well worth the extra cost to upgrade just for the gearbox upgrade its a peach

New golf is wet 7 speed.

Should be way more durable.

However, all dual clutches are the same. Clutch packs all tear and wear.

Ya, I’ve seen a massive lemon [emoji522] polo ending up trading by the owner herself.

Yes I believe it's a 6 speed wet clutch, the 7 speed sounds amazing but I'm more than happy with what I have now!

I’ve got a 7.5 GTI manual. The latest in a long line stretching back to the MK4. It’s a great car for the money but I am seriously contemplating a cat back aftermarket exhaust as it is far too refined. Any recommendations? I’ve looked at a couple of Remus options but haven’t pulled the trigger yet as want to know if there are better products out there.

I’ve watched a few. The Remus sounds pretty good. I was interested in hearing from someone who has gone with an aftermarket cat back system and lived with it for a while.

Wow that's a different level haha but honestly I think I'd prefer the drive on the golf - the AMG will be all over the road, manic!
