I created some noise and emailed the CEO of VW Australia, as head office t to pull out of their initial proposal of an upgrade to a golf GTI - the director of customer experience got into contact with me and honoured the deal and provided me with an upgrade. Yeah definitely, I've heard upgrading to heavy duty clutches fixes the issue, but they replaced clutches, mechatronics unit and then the whole transmission with no luck - massive lemon. The Golf is going well so far, fingers crossedOriginally posted by zzc2010 View Post

Should be way more durable.
However, all dual clutches are the same. Clutch packs all tear and wear.
Ya, I’ve seen a massive lemon [emoji522] polo ending up trading by the owner herself.
