Hey guys, Ive posted on a fb group and on whirlpool but I am hoping I could get some better information here.
I am trying to look into inverting the gear shifter. Not the paddle shifters, Those are great and fine as is.
I would love to invert how the gear selector shifter stick shifts in manual mode. Its a personal preference and if it could be done it would make that driving experience for me just that extra bit awesome.
Right now from factory it is Push up towards the dash for + gear up shift and Pull down towards your hip for - Shift down.
So far I have asked E-tuners Sydney and Cobb. Both have pretty much said they dont have a solution or it may require to much time and reseource to figuring out the coding ?
Cobb has managed to do it for the PDK shifter on a porsche but then again, that is a completely different car.

Anywho I was hoping to see if anyone here has manged to to do this to their own DSG Gti or could help me figure it out as that is how I prefer to drive and shift, sometimes I just love to shift using the gear stick because it reminds of all those fun times I use to spend playing arcade racing games like Initial D and Battle Gear!
Hoping you guys can help.
