  • CPL filter on Blackvue dash cam - fits on rear camera?

Hi guys - hoping someone can provide some advice.

I've got a Blackvue dash cam fitted to my car, and bought the CPL filters to go with it. Due to the steep angle of the rear window, I cannot get the filter to fit onto the camera. Has anyone been able to get one to fit?

Do you really need one for the rear? If the lens is as close to the rear glass as you say it is, you won't get much reflection from it. Besides, a CPL also cuts down on available light, making things darker, especially at night (where you don't have the benefit of your headlights).

Good point - there's definitely not as much reflection happening on the rear as there is the front. I just want to fit it given I've got the bloody thing!
