  • Catalytic Converter warning light came on and then went away

So the light came on one day and then went away a couple of days later, before I could get the car checked/scanned. The really odd thing is that the car is a diesel (103kW CR)

Has anyone else had this happen?

    Get it scanned anyway.

It'll still have the code logged.

I had my 2010 103 kw scanned yesterday and the fault is the EGR.Had it replaced at 18,000km under warranty. Now at 90,000.I bought some blanking plates a while back and think I will delete the thing! Has anybody done this on a 2L? Any help would be much appreciated.Next question is, does anyone know if there is someone in the Brisbane to northern nsw area who can do the delete on the computer side of the process?
          Thanks Stevan

I can only do it as part of a tune. It would need to be bench flashed in boot mode for me to do this.

              Sorry, I missed your query.
I haven't had it checked yet since it went away (unfortunately, Snail Style is clear across the other side of town )
