Coming home lights don't stay on? and how do i activate cornering fog lights?

I have a 2012 mk6 golf gti and have the following questions:

The option in the MFD is checked, the leaving home function works but the coming home function doesn't?

Headlights are switched to auto but when I turn the car off, the headlights turn off as well.

Also, how do I activate the cornering fog lights?

im picking my jetta up in a couple of weeks and it has this as well

Doesn't everyone read the manual cover to cover when they get a new car?


Anyway, flash the high beams to turn on the "coming home" function. Essentially you have to manually turn it on every time you want to use it.

As for the cornering fogs, can't really help you there asI mine worked from factory, but it's likely to be a VCDS coding this if they aren't already on.

Coming home - when you park your car, the headlights stay on for 10 secs or whatever time you set it to.

Leaving home - when you press the unlock button, the lights will come on for 10 secs or whatever you set it for
