When I bought my GTI last month they told me that it was probably the last MK6 GTI to come to Australia.

Comments made by the VW Australia GM prior to Christmas suggested we'd probably have no MKVI Gti's left in Aus by June this year. He's probably being an optimist, but it says to me they have no intention of another final GTi edition. Besides don't think anyone would want an Edition 35 lookalike with no K04 goodness...

How many K's has yours done dsuhiti? Out of interest, and what would you ask for yours, also purely out of interest

Dealers are good at gilding the lily. We just purchased a MK6 GTI that was in dealer stock. They had it for just over four weeks. God only knows the VIN for the last import.

Local dealer confirmed that they can't be ordered and what is left is it. They have drive away deals on them at the moment to try and get rid of the remaining stock.
