United Grey GTI

Noticed a United Grey 5 door GTI at Nepean Motor Group on Friday, must be a special order for the colour. Anyone know of any others in the country?

Iv heard you can ask for other colours but your at there mercy wether or not the say yes. depends on the guy, day, weather ect.
had a mate ask for a yellow Roc. he waited a month for a answer they said yes in a email to the dealer but when it arrived it was white.

I know the later Mk5 GTI's were available in United Grey, but have never neen a Mk6 GTi (In Australia) in United Grey.

I initially wanted to buy a MK6 GTI, and asked the dealer if i could custom order one in United Grey - to which they replied yes you can, for a fee, but we cant guarantee that your car will actually be painted United Grey?!?!?!

So thats what made me decide to get the R, in the colour i wanted etc.

I was told I could special order anything that was available in any country but later told it's what's on offer in Aus only. Both times it was by VW employees (as opposed to dealers).
