Hi can you buy a set of detroit alloys for mk6 GTI aftermarket or only through dealer or wait for someone to sell a set and what cost roughly Thanks gary

Wonder if they are as good as the OEM ones....quality-wise, etc

Also a question....what do you have to change when changing rim or tyre sizes?

I tried to buy a couple of tyres from Kmart Tyre Service for my partners Corolla, exactly the same as she had on the car but with a lower profile and they said they couldn't do it because it wasn't legal....and it would make the speedo inaccurate or something.

So if I changed from my 17" Denvers to the 18" Detroits what is involved??

If you changed to the 18inch wheels you would need the following size tyres: 225/40/18.
