Is it okay if i top up my fuel when i still got a substantial quantity in the tank from the last fill up, i'm used to filling up every two weeks? Is there any truth in RON 98 dropping in its potency over time? Thanks in anticipation.

Agree with The Hawe. I'm consistently 2 weeks between fills in the car, but my bikes are a different storey. I have one I fill quite regularly but another that often goes 2 to 3 months at a time between fills. Still starts within seconds of thumbing the starter and doesn't present an issue when ridden.Pepper Grey MY11 TIGUAN 125 TSI DSG | APR Stage 1 | Comfort Pack | Carpet Mats | MDI | BT | Tint | Custom Audio

Never had any problems but I have occasionally noticed a slight improvement in oomph when leaving the petrol station, so perhaps there's a little bit of truth to the potency myth. Or it's all in my head.Could also perhaps just be due to starting the car when it's already warm.

I leave fuel in my car at my holiday house and have sometimes not driven the car for over 6 months. Still runs perfect.
I think this concern is similar to the bloke who was really concerned about leaving his Golfs lights on Auto as he was worried about wearing them out !!!
Just enjoy the car.
