Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Rear Spoiler/Diffuser

    Has anyone with a GTI or an R replaced the rear diffuser with something else? Or even the other models?

    Part number will start with 5K6 807 521

    From what I can see the part is common across the entire range and I'm looking at switching out the one on the Cabriolet with the GTI or R unit (or maybe something else) along with an appropriate exhaust.

    If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

      I'd love to find a Golf GTI owner who went new diffuser + exhaust and wanted to sell of the stock items
