Black or Silver wheels for Golf R - United Grey

Everyone's taste is different but I like:

RB - Silver, UG- Silver, CW - Black, Black - Black.

I've seen a members Black on Black R in the showroom and it looks damn mean and menacing. If CW with Black is a storm trooper then Black on black is Darth Vader.

Personally RB and UG with black looks like they are shod with steelies especially in low light.

And SF there's nothing wrong with my 19's. lol

Not a bad thing as the boss says I can only get a new set of rims I want if I wear out the stockies. Still haven't worked out exactly what wearing out the rims mean yet. lol. Hmmm getting awkward when you have to clarify your comments.

Was having a chuckle too until I got a text from panel beater firming up a time to come round and look at my car today.

Have to agree......went from GTI mark 5 to Passat r36 and within 12 months was back into golf r.....just didnt feel right or the same!
Have handed the r over to a very happy wife and now after 6 week wait have just taken delivery of r ug/dsg/sat nav/acc/silver 19 tallys.Interestingly it was supposed to have black wheels!!!!but it still looks fantastic and am really pleased with the UG...looks really smart. I really dont know what happened but the dealer assures me that in 3-4 weeks i will be getting the black tallys. The wifes r is black with silver rims so worse case scenario if I dont like black I can stick them on hers! I was ecstatic to find that what I wanted was already made and on the boat so no long wait......lucky I guess.
Finally I too am getting old but I still can appreciate a fine motor vehicle and the r certainly is that!
