Got home today to find a package (small) from VW. Inside is a small booklet, a 'roadside assist' card, and.... a large chunky rubbery/plasticy key fob that says adidas.

A little cheap and nasty, but a nice gesture I guess.

Our business just got a caddy and they sent us a little metal key ring. I got nothing for my 103tdi which cost more. Wonder what's gonna happen when the R arrives are they gonna take my keyring away?

I received a box yesterday, about 22cm X 14x 2cm, inside I found my roadside assist card and a thin little brochure explaining the card, talk about packaging overkill.

That's the VW welcome pack, i never received one for the R so called VW up a month or so ago chasing it up, finally recieved it on Tuesday.

I received the roadside assist card and welcome pack before my car had been delivered by the dealer to me due to some hold ups.

After the first service received a nice cooler bag including full picnic set and a pair of dealer branded pajamas.

Very nice jesture on their behalf i thought.

Lucky you. I emailed VW head office twice over a couple of months, and then called them and spoke to them about it, and still never got my Roadside assist card. I've since given up and should the need arise will simply call the number on the windshield and hope for the best.
