    I spoke to my dealer last week, was told that the 35th edition will arrive by the end of this year. That's all!
    GTI BY & MY 12.5 - 5 Door
    DSG, Carbon Steel, Bi-xenon, 18inch Detroit, ACC, Sunroof, RVC, Leather, Dynaudio & Window tint. GOT IT

      a member posted on the vwgolf.net.au site that he worked in advertising and they have vw as a client. they r working on the gti edition 35 campaign now and said that 200 is the number and its about $4000 more than a normal gti

          Yeh... wouldn't be surprised if he is fired... or at least doesn't get his bonus this year

          Maybe VGA are nicer than Apple. They'd have him assasinated.

                When he said that the pricing was supposed to be $4k above the base GTI I thought that is going to have the whole debate surrounding value proposition of the R v GTI come screaming up again as I think Corey did some numbers that indicated the difference between a GTI configured with R options was about $4k difference making it an easy step the the R decision.. so it will become a GTR 35 V R thread... lol

                    Limited to 200 x 5drs.

                          However though, it's not about the power increase. The Edition 35 is for fans to own a celebration piece of a legendary vehicle, now that is priceless.

                                +$1695 for APR stage 1
                                +$1800 for 18" rim upgrade
                                + priceless Dimpled Golf ball shifter vs the new fugly shifter
                                + LED tail lights

                                No brainer for me.
