PERTH - allocation for GOLF GTi 35

    Just received allocation:

"Candy white" - no factory options
    (nearly SOLD...)
"Candy white" - RNS510, sunroof, leather
"Tornado Red" - RNS510, sunroof, leather

    That's all folks...

Anyone interested please call me on 0412 106 663 or email me on christian.sieg@dvg.com.au (sorry no Corporate or dealer discount as there are too few, so please do not call if you had an offer "from over East" with $5,000.00 discount and want me to match it...)

We DO ship interstate (by train, not truck) and cost should be about $1,000.00, fully insured - this is a reputable company and a door-to-door service!

    Regards

Is Adaptive Chassis Control standard? I don't see it as an option on the press releases?

If it ain't listed in the list of features in the 35 edition then it's not standard.

And it's not in the options either. So that's also weird.

Not really... they're limited. They can't have all 1000 combinations of options when you're only going to have 200 of 'em. So just like with the MKV GTI Pirelli, they make some things standard, some things unique, a few things optional, and then flick off the rest. Outside of enthusiasts on this forum, there ain't many people who really understand what ACC/DCC does. Even some salesguys don't understand...

Shame really. That's one of the biggest change from V GTI that I thought was very useful.

As my high school economics teacher always said, "Price is what you Pay, value is what you get". The perceived price gap of a normal GTI and GTI35 is a bit (after factoring in the Corporate discount allowed for stock GTIs) but are you getting value????? (Note - this is purely rhetorical)

Agree. There will always be a demand for Limited Editions but given some of the R drive away prices I've seen, a 35 with no discount is starting to creep into R territory. I'm sure whoever gets them will be very happy nonetheless.

I have to say I like what VW do to differentiate.. I mean you pay more but you get more under the hood.. A lot of manufacturers call Limited edition and you get the lipstick but no blowJ0b..

Even thogh the 35 is tipping into R territory you have to admit it is a noice bit of kit

IMO,it should be better without it. From my experience, all the GTI needs is a set of sways and an ALK.

Plus, for the about same price as the ACC upgrade, you can install a nice set of coilovers on the car.

Fitted w Conti's, a GTI doesn't need any more power. XDL struggles in 2nd, in the dry!

                          2. S3 injectors

VS the overly refined EA888 which doesn't have the above and makes the current GTI as boring as as Corolla/bat poo to drive.
I find it strange why they used the older EA113 engine in a MK6 GTI chassis in 2011... I understand the technical reasons, but from a customers/marketing stand point it basically says the current MK6 GTI EA888 doesn't cut the mustard. I would feel duped if I bought the MK6 GTI.

Very funny (lipstick, B/Job) but very true. The likes of HSV rolling out the SV Black range. $4000 extra for some black highlights and black wheels, wheres the value in that? Limited editions need more than just small cosmetic changes.
Golf R, Rising Blue, 5 Door, DSG and some extra fruit.

heh.. was wondering if anyone noticed that.. anyway glad you got your new set of wheels in the right colour and loving it.. truly a great place to be.. now the "tweaking" begins.. I have tried to not do it but there are so many little things that need to be done..

You need to change your sig to "Viagra on AWD" I mean those GTI folk think the same thing and there needs to be differentiation or you could be smashed in the GTI v R thread
