Yeah - I had mine drop of at some point during I don't know when...

But just told the service guys about it and replaced for $10 each. Just drive down to the dealership (if your next service isn't for a while), simple 2 second job.

Mine came loose the other time when I checked, had to pop it back in place. Maybe I should secure it with some duct tape too...

            Part number 2010 GTi?

What's the part number of a cover plate in the front wheel arch which gives you access to the front fog lights on a 2010 GTi? Just noticed that it must have popped out today.
            Cheers

Had to replace one as well - also read a suggestion that apart from duct tape you can also use a (black!) cable tie to secure the new one onto the guard liner, though will need to add a small hole/knife cut in both to loop the tie through.

Cover for fog lights on GTI??

Hi all just a quick question under my front wheel guard arches on my GTI there is an access point to change the globes for the fog/driving lights, I assume these are suppose to have covers so that no water gets flicked up by the wheels when it rains etc. am I right?? Mine there I just a hole and no covers?

                      thanks all for your help😀

I assumed this was the use for the hole. Does anyone have any spare covers lying around??

Yes it should have covers but they are common to fall off. I got new ones from ECS Tuning along with a bunch of other things for my GTI.
