my 24yr just came from the dealership, he calls it 'German Murder'.. I can look, but can't touch. Monday delivery. Thanks for feedback on the scheme, been stressing. The black Headlite surrounds are a hugh bonus.

Picked up the R yesterday. Unreal! Best best! Definitely worth the wait. Here are some few first shots just from the phone. No regret. Looks better in real life

Took the R down to Reflect Effect to get the Opti-Coat treatment

Are you happy with the Opti-Coat treatment?

Did you buy the warranty (meaning you have to go back annually for a check up annually for a reapplication if required)?

Any feedback on the company Reflect Effect?

I am happy with it,
The reflections in the paint were a bit grey prior to the treatment, and are now much nicer.
I didn't buy a warranty, I'd rather spend that money getting it reapplied.

Unfortunately I had some minor marks in the paint from some bird droppings,
they had been cleaned off within hours of it happening, but still left marks in the paint!

Dave spent some time trying to improve these marks before applying the opti-coat,
He did a great job, i think 75% of it was removed, and the remaining marks are harder to find.
Didn't charge me extra even though this wasn't part of the original quote.
I'm sure he could have fixed it all, but I wasn't paying for a paint correction service.

He tinted the front windows with 55% (should be close to 65% as the glass has some colour in it)
Colour doesn't match 100%, but you need to know to look for it, and even then it's marginal
He had the right tools to remove the door card safely, and took care to ensure he didn't scratch the paint around the trim.

Only thing that I noticed was a small patch of dirt inside the wheel arch. (only noticed because the wheels were turned)
However it was raining that day and he had to drive it 30m from the wash bay to the workshop, so it probably happened then.

Dave was very accomodating, honest and he also put up with many questions that i had
I'll definately be going back.

Installed my LED Licence plate lamps on the weekend.

They are a no fault set up and included the hardware to not cause issues.

They are a full replacement lamps.

Again, an iPhone pis so excuse the ****e quality.
The pic also shows a fair amount of flaring but they are not like this.

They look trick at night.

This looks interesting.... any chance of having an updated photo with a "proper" camera? hehe
