So the above are obviously just photoshopped VW press photos. Got any real photos of your GTI? Did you get it repainted yourself?

Do you think? If you're asking if I got it repainted then you think it's real?

All right so maybe it isn't my actual car and they're probably some press shots someone's uploaded... however it has had a RHD conversion and I've changed the badging over to the correct side of the boot.

I'm assuming your car is pink because you mentioned as much in your post in the newbie section. And those photos are plastered all over the Internet - albeit in a slightly redder shade of pink.

OK OK so I didn't have someone hanging out the back of a car to take the shot of me driving my "pink" GTI. But just in case someone is looking to plasti-dip/wrap their car this is what it might turn out like.

I can't believe how many brochures we get here with LHD pictures when it shouldn't take too much effort to flip/photshop them to at least look like it's a RHD.

Does it matter? Only takes a couple of weeks for all the car reviewers to take plenty of photos and videos of the RHD versions in the UK, etc.

Ryan, no one has camera phones so its very hard to capture a photo of your car with a camera of any sort these days i hear.

I plastidipped my car fluorescent green over lunch... But i haven't go any photos sorry.... lol

Well you boys with nice shiny red GTI's ought to be careful that you don't polish your cars too much and cause heat stress to your paintwork. Otherwise your paint may fade and you could be driving around in a nice pink GTI like mine.

I was more making the comment that LHD models still crop up from time to time in the Aussie brochures - just lazy not getting the RHD pictures (from the UK as you say) or at least converting the LHD images to RHD.
