Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

As SilvrFoxX mentioned, the front of the R is low enough. It's not specifically that they're very low, they're also a decent distance in front of the wheels. Those two "peaks" below each side of the front central grill are especially problematic, sometimes being already scratched underneath before the customer takes delivery of the car.
So putting a lip inbetween the peaks would be a PITA as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah... especially a carbon fibre lip. I've had one before. Whilst with our Golf R bumpers, you scrape them and it's no big deal. You scrape a real carbon fibre bumper, and once you're through the lacquer you have exposed fibres. GOD HELP anyone who then touches that area with their bare hand. I can tell you, I spent 3 hours of pain digging out carbon fibres from my hand and fingers with a needle and jewelers tweezers - and that incident was whilst washing and my hand was covered by a thick lambs wool wash mitt! So dangerous....

lowest point at the front and rear are carbon fibres... everytime i see deep dips, shopping centre ramps, big speed bumps... i see them as my enemies..

I didn't think that would slip on to stock exhaust, that must be a full Akrapovic catback.
I'm still looking for titanium tips for my stock cat back.[Current] Audi A4 B8 MY2013 2.0T Quattro - Lava Grey, Black Edition, S-Line, 19" TT-RS Wheels
