I know that it is illegal to use fog lights in WA but... Has anyone installed fog lights in their Golf just "to look pretty"...

I understand it sounds stupid but did anyone added unconnected fog lights to their front grille, such as :

Rang up local dealer and been quoted $2757 just for the unit - are they mad ? Fitting was extra and that's not even Navigation unit...

Yep but I don't have a cable.

It will still work without the coding, just won't get the display on the MFD. But I found a nice guy on here who is letting me use his cable to code my stuff too.

Just picked up my Carbonio CAI from Melbourne Performance Centre after work today. Will attempt to install it later tonight!

Was wondering, whats the maintenance like for the APR Carbonio filter? How about replacement filters? That said, the same for BSH, etc.

I believe that a simple wash with warm soapy water is enough for the APR panel filters. They are a foam filter (not cotton like K&N which need a dedicated cleaner and reoiling). Obviously make sure that the filter is dry before youre install it.

A GTI Carbonio owner would be the best person to speak to. R = panel filter. GTI = pod filter.
