S2TPP Replacement DSG / Tiptronic Paddle Shifters Group Buy
Maybe I'll go in on the 2nd group buy too... mine still haven't arrived from the 1st after nearly a month!
Send them an email with your order number, and confirm the day they were mailed and the details to which they were sent too...
We all know how good the local post are sometimes....
Ok. Finally got the paddles fitted by Solitaire VW today. Gave them the instructions this time and waddaya know 20 mins later they were done. And would you believe they didn't charge me a cent because they stuffed me around! Completely redeemed themselves IMO.
I have amended this post now as I have had time to get used to these paddles. I really like them now. Its quite a different feel to the oem but it just takes a bit of time to adapt your grip. It all makes sense now. So I'll promptly get back in my box and say to you folk "Go get 'em"!
Yeah still open. I havent put a close date on it as yet. Trying to drum up as much interest as possible to see what kind of discount we can get from the team at S2T Performance.
So at this stage just name, number of paddles and color will do.
I'm in for a set of black ones for my R36 which is due middle of October! Can't wait.
On Order: Mk 8 Golf R Wagon | Lapiz Blue | Panoramic Roof
Wifes car: 2020 Tiguan R line - all the fruit

maybe we are in need of a new post as many people may look at the first page and think that it is completed?
Just a suggestion.
Cheers

Are people with MkVI GTi's or R's still having to modify their car to get these to fit. I have purchased a set while awaiting for my R, but personally I would prefer not to cut away at the leather if possible?
United Grey R: All the accessories (leather, not Recaro's though), S2P paddles, Kuftech DVD in motion. Carbon grill, mirrors and diffuser awaiting to be fitted.

The Original VW Paddle Shifter Design has been changed to allow the proper clearance with the MK6 Steering Wheel. No modification will be required. The Paddle Shifters will function perfectly with both the MK6 and MK5.

Michael is that for items being sent out now? What about the people that bought in the group buy organised by Coreying last month? One user already posted having to cut at the leather. Was that a one off or have you changed the design slighty since?

The newly designed Paddle Shifter will be available next month.
In our experience, not all MK6's models require a modification the the OEM Steering Wheel.
If anyone has any Fitment issues they can contact us directly and we will address the problem.
For anyone concerned the amount of leather you are shaving off is very small, is not visible and is not over stitching etc. It really isn't a big deal, it's not like you're taking a hacksaw to your steering wheel.
