I have seen this discussed before here. I believe that you can't change the "lane change flash" in your settings.....so be like me, see it as a challenge to get your lane change done before the 3rd flash.

I'm sure many drivers would rather see you change lanes in a controlled and safe manner rather than trying to beat the "3 flashes"."Stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death. I don't use it myself. Prefer full control over my indicators, but each to their own!Originally posted by VWVortexComfort Turn signals

As others have said. The "Comfort Turn" signals can be enabled or disabled in the MFD setup menu. If you need more than 3 signals for a particular maneuver then you can "hold" the indicator for the additional blinks. However, you can use VCDS to update it to either 4 or 5 blinks

Now I just need to find a friendly VCDS guru in Sydney...--------------------------

I think minimum is 3 and maximum is 5 - that was the range accepted by the controller... from memory when I was in that controller section....
But... c'mon - 1 flash... isn't it what the rest of other drivers are doing anyway when changing lane? mostly here in Melbourne...

I changed mine to 4 about 2 weeks ago - much better.
(The only annoying thing is if you accidentally indicate while turning on cruise control) :p

I'm guessing that changing the 3 lane flash as well as the Auto Sunroof Closing when raining (as per the other thread) will all have to be activated in the Golf R also. Is it a time consuming process using the VAG-COM or could it be something you could request the dealer to do when you go to collect your new car?MY11 Golf R - Rising Blue - 5DR - DSG - 19" Black OZ Ultralegerra - Leather - Sunroof - MDI - Euro Plates - Milltek Exhaust - Bluefin - SOLD
