      GTD there also.
Was the grey Steel Grey? I seen a few pics of the Steel Grey R on the uk sites and it looks quite good.

Good call, it's been done to death. RE pricing, the dealers are only finding it out like today haha.

My dealer rang to say their stock is arriving today/tomorrow so he'll ring me as soon as they get it for a look and drive

Yeah, both were the steel grey,

I Like the colour, though the standard wheels dont do it justice IMO.

Cars were both dirty from transport.

              Mirrors my experience with it.
It didn't have the gutteral V6 growl of the R32, but it could be heard within the cabin whereas you have to wind down the windows to hear it on the R32.

Would you prefer something that sounds fast or is fast? You can hear the V6 in the cabin easily enough, just that the exhaust sounds different from inside the car.

                      Hi all,

New to posting, but have followed the R thread since early April when I placed my pre-order for a 3DR DSG R. I am one of the lucky ones who got one in the initial order matching most of my specs (with: Rising Blue, RNS510, Dynaudio, ACC; without: MDI, Bluetooth).

Signed the contract today, no sign of a discount, but this is to be expected given my desire to not delay and getting in on a release vehicle.
Have been told that the car should arrive in Darwin late this week or early next week, so am thrilled to be getting close now.

Then have to start looking in Darwin for MDI, BT, and APR suppliers...!

Is it bad that this thread has ended up on the Car Advice website saying that prices have been leaked?
A moderator on the VW Watercooled website has apparently stumbled across Australian pricing for the forthcoming Volkswagen Golf R. Also included in the list was pricing on options available, but of course, it's all recommended retail pricing, and not driveaway.
