America had orange in their MKV GTIs. Some loved it, but I personally think it sucked. As do almost all orange cars

The colour was (is) called [b]Magma Orange[b] and it was part of a limited 1200 car Fahrenheit special edition. The cars were individually numbered on the lower spoke of the steering wheel. There is a thread for it over at VWvortex. It's filled with lots of pictures like this vomit inducing one

The second example looks much better with the body kit and is obviously lower. The first one looks like it has fully pumped up air shocks. Terrible.

That orange makes me want to puke. It doesn't go with the red accents on the GTI at all. On the XR5T I can take it, but don't think it suits the GTI.

that was the suspension height of the first US Market Mk 5 GTIs.
