did you get the sonic or carbon tint from Arma?
I would love to see pics of the 20% if you have any.

Got my car done at 20% allround by ARMA in Essendon. Im happy with the results.

FWIW - They do all of Essondon VW's pre-delivery tinting so they are familiar with the car.

Hi

Need some advice re window tinting for a candy white gti darkest legal.

Originally looking at octane but was advised will go over due to the darker colour of the glass (still really love the octane)

Now deciding between formula 1 (tint a car) with a carbon film at the back to prevent reception issues or sonic from (arma) all around.

Greatly appreciate feedback

Got my gti tinted at austint in five dock. They do all the tinting for Barloworld - got 18% all round (I think - one darker than legal) for $300. Decent job with nice clean cuts and no gaps round the edges

Does any know the specs like VLT, TSER etc for the tintacar range?

Have looked at a few other options and have been able to track down the specs (thanks google) but cant seem to find anything for tintacar stuff.

I meant one option darker than legal which they had

After driving my golf for a few weeks I found I actually liked not having tint on the windows and having the better visibility. I decided to do something different and ended up putting ultra performance 75 on it.

It looks like its still tinted but it a lot lighter than other cars when you see them close to each other.

Heres some pictures for those who may consider this product.

Nice! Just out of interest, how do you find reversing at night? Have you been warned by coppers for going that dark?

Also, do you find that the car is much cooler after parking in the sun versus no tint?
