FYI, mine took 5.5 weeks from ordering to receipt - although this was no fault of the dealer who sent them the same day as payment but the post office obviously 'lost them' then found then again after they were being chased. This was about 10 days delay. They come via a trackable postal service, not DHL courier as we would know it. Most people seem to receive them in 4 weeks as an average.

just wondering if anyone has ordered the LED tails from Ozram's contact recently - what are they going for delivered with the current exchange rate?

Im looking to place an order in the next few weeks - if there is anyone interested in a group buy let me know

I ordered mine from Ozram's contact yesterday! The total cost was $701.60AUD, using the Paypal conversion rates.

The process was so easy and the contact was able to answer all my questions and was very friendly and approachable. I can't recommend it to other VWW members enough!

Maybe I should include this on my information PM's. The freight *is* by DHL and you will receive a tracking number. But you have to go to the main German DHL site to be able to track it. Then when the parcel reaches Australia, you are quite correct slipshot, the freight is handled by Australia Post and / or its couriers.

Do not get confused, it is not DHL Express courier. It's DHL air mail, hence the shipping will take up to 2-3 weeks. The package weight just under 5kg's, so asking for DHL Express will cost you a bomb.

Yeah you're correct mate. DHL mail is very common in Germany. Many of the CDs I order from Amazon come from Germany via DHL mail. This is why when it gets to Australia it is then handled by Australia post and NOT DHL the courier division.

Has anyone ordered these LED tails from TM Tuning in Germany? I notice they sell the OEM R Line cherry red LED tails for US$749 and the adapter cables and code box. Would like to get some but the wife is not too keen on me spending more money on the car.

Ozram's contact is cheaper... includes the cables (I believe the adaptor box only works for LHD cars?!) and freight.

My wife wasn't keen either... but I still got them!

This thing you call a 'wife', I must have one built into me somewhere, because as much as I like them + being single + being able to afford them, I too am not keen on that price just for those lights
