R LED tail light reverse lights

Hey all picked up a pair of aftermarket R LED tail lights recently I think this question has been asked but couldn't find it.
Can i connect up the other reverse light together but a wire piggybacking off the existing one? Or will this trip error messages? Can I also just cut the fig wiring?

OEM Golf R tail lights

Does anyone places to buy OEM golf r tail lights at a reasonable price? I don't want to settle for replica ones!

I got mine from Bold Sport and they are genuine. It was the best price i could find at the time (about 18 months ago), but no doubt the price is less attractive now that the Aussie dollar is no bad.

Yeah I looked up bold sport, it's gonna cost me $1,004.72 cos of our ****ty dollar, was hoping I can find something under $1K
