From the graph, torque is coming on at the same time, but instead of stopping at 250Nm @ 1500rpm, it keeps going till 330Nm @ 1900rpm, and rather than the peak torque stopping at 2500rpm, it stays until 2800rpm. It then drops off about the same rate as the stop torque, but is still ~80Nm up over stock at 4500rpm. So this is only an improvement with no disadvantage.
Power starts outpacing stock from the get go at, ~1300rpm. By the time you hit 2000rpm you're already ~23kw up on stock, which means you're already over the 81kw peak which the stock achieves at 4200rpm. Power continues to grow to 110kw at 3800rpm. At 4500rpm you're still ~25kw up on stock. So again, only advantages.
So I wouldn't say that this elimates turbo lag, but I would say you're going to get a much bigger grin on your face once the turbo does spool up!
