No not yet, I would hazzard a guess that it will be very similar to the GTI and priced similarly too but we will not find out untill the new year.

Heard today that May '10 might be optimistic, David. Appreciate any updates as they come to hand. Thanks.

GTD has less CO2 but more other pollutants than GTI (e.g. NOx), so I wouldn't call it really "greener" in an overall sense.

I reckon the GT Sport 125kw TDI would have been a sweet acquisition. Seems to be in a class by itself, other than cosmetics and a lower price, any performance diff between that and the new GTD?

The GTD is being shown having a 0 to 100 in 8.1 (0.1 second improvement) and fuel consumption of 5.3L/100km (1.3L/100km improvement). Though note that both of the GTD figures are from Europe, so they may not be directly comparable to the Australian MKV GT figures.

But keep in mind there are also other new features other than just cosmetics. You inherit all the other new GTI MK6 features, including the new XDS which even forum members here have noted is very helpful on the corners etc.
