a fair bit, wont say exactly as when I have on another forum people go nuts...
I love the look over the Carbonio and other on the market, gotta love CF
lol... yeah, I've done a bit of looking around. People already go nuts over the Carbonio pricing in Australia, so I can understand why you're hesitant to mention the price of that thing
What does it do to the sound (got vid? ) ? How hard is it to install? (Goes without saying that it looks the business).
no vid, no time at the moment, install was pretty easy, I'm no techo and I managed it in around 1hr, getting the old one out was the hard bit the actual install was very simple even with the funny translation from Japanese on the instructions!
as for the sound, its loud, and fantastic! can def hear the diff, sucks away nicely, I'm considering coupling it with the Stg 2 pipe from Carbonio at some point to complete the look too
I had my new rims fitted late last week (18" Omanyts from the MkV R32), and took some photos over the weekend. Seeing as I haven't posted photos in this thread for a while, I figured it's about time.
I really love the look of your car AdamD. Very nice and sleek. The wheels look great with that colour, and the front plate holder looks great too!
If it had Xenons and 2 less doors, it'd be practically perfect!
Thanks very much coreying! I wasn't quite sure if the rims would work on the MkVI, but I'm pretty happy with them so far. On the conservative side, but a classy look.
As an aside, this photo shows the rear Lakin bracket underneath the plate and cover, from side-on. You can barely see it's there.
Finally got around to washing and waxing my car yesterday, and it was an overcast day today... so picture time! A few from this morning. Original sized ones linked.
That blue is growing on me, still not as nice as the biscay/deep blue pearl imho.
Not a fan of the VW specified wheel arch "flares" as they detract from the look of the car.
Needs a badgeless grill or a black badge to finish the black and blue look
