Thanks A12DO....picked it up this arvo - wow. Because it is so long between order and delivery, you forget how good these things are Done about 20k only = will give it a good drive tomorrow and will post some pic's then - too dark now.

LOL....I know - pretty ordinary. Gotta go out again in a litle while, but just basking in the glory at the moment, reading the manual Will post some pics tomorrow.

While I was waiting for the dealer to sort out the number plate transfer (personalised), I wandered around the yard and they had a new Golf R and a GTD. Very nice. Interestingly, the GTD arrived on the Queen Saphire yesterday, and it was already on the lot (but needed clean etc - still had transport sticker on window). The standard wait in Melb is about 2-3 weeks once it arrives! Go figure....anyway, don't have to worry about delivery anymore

Hey, I did have a photo - avg quality from the phone. Will post more tomorrow. I ordered what I thought was the basic bluetooth kit, but the dealer has organised the install of an integrated, aftermarket kit - but apparently better than the VW advanced kit. Fully integrated phone book - very happy with it.

Picked up my GTI on Saturday and between the lousy Adelaide weather and trying to get me out of the drivers seat to wash it, these are my only pictures to date. Enjoy - as much as I am.

I've had the car for a bit over 24 hours and I can honestly say, the best car I've ever had. I've had a HSV, Calais, Westfield Clubman - but this is a beautiful car, goes fantastic, well made - the complete package

For those waiting for delivery - it is well worth the wait.
