I just checked with PGC and they said it is just one peice of film used for the bonnet, so i'm unsure why yours would have two pieces.

Also they still can't get anywhere near what you paid on price for me, the Golf R's bumper is a bit more fiddly i believe to do than the GTI but it's going to cost me nearly as much just for the ventureshield as you paid for the film and the paint protection..

Bummer. Major bummer. Maybe say you were referred by someone (Justin or Pete). I am just throwing out ideas here on how you can get the price lower. I am not sure why only my bonnet was done from many pieces. Either way it is still good and does the trick.

We should do a group buy for paint protection polish... Buy from US... The only reason you pay $500ish for it is warranty! Better doing it yourself...

Yeah but its so much effort! I flicked an quote thing off to ozicozi, hoping they have a dealer down here. I did entertain the thought of a road trip upto Sydney with a mate whose taking delivery of an RS5 in Jan but chances are we'll get carried away on the drive and end up doing damage, defeating the whole point hehe.

I have to contact Ozishield and see what they offer, but don't list the R yet.

I Used Ozishield for my GTI and am more than happy with the results. Had someone ask them for a quote to do a Toyota Rukus with the same package and they quoted the same price as my GTI even though they did not have the Rukus listed on their website.
