Worn Build date and Compliance sticker

Hi guys, took my 2010 mk6 gti in for a rwc and it was failed because the build date and compliance sticker are supposedly worn and illegible. Where can I get replacements for this?

Are you talking about the sticker thats on the inside of the drivers door is faded/worn? How did that happen?

Try looking in the boot under the carpet near the spare wheel, there should be similar details there. Otherwise you may need to go see VW to get a new build date sticker.

You must be a super efficient car cleaner MY Uncle was like that and used to stop after being on a dusty road and wipe the car down.Eventually rubbed the paint off the bonnet edged on his 1936 Morris LOL

I honestly don't even know where it is lol, just repeating what's on my invoice and what the mechanic said to me. I wish I knew how it happened too, super frustrating. Will try that, thank you.

It is on the B pillar which is between your doors on the drivers side and looks like this and unless you rub down all that it would normally never get touched as you have to open the door to even see it One is build sticker and one is Compliance sticker
