Hello everyone!
I have a vw golf mk6 DSG1.2 tsi. Sadly I've had a timing chain failure and consequently my engine gave up.
I am now considering of putting a 2lt gti engine from another mk6 that's been written off. I've got the engine, the ecu, the wiring loom , engine mounts ,brakes, shafts etc. Just wondering,Has anyone ever done a swap like this before and what sort of challenges should be expected?
