Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Is trhere a way of confirming my front disk size without removing the wheel and measuring it?

What car do you have? If its a MK6 Golf 1.4T 90TSI (which I think it may be from looking at your old posts) then you should have the 288mm front disks.

Run Auto Parts in Melbourne is a good place to get consumable parts like brakes/filters/etc. Just put your car info in and search for parts: Run Auto Parts | Australia'''s OEM Auto Parts Store | Car Care & Service parts

I've found the Bendix Euro+ pads to be decent. They are on my son's Polo GTi and he is quite fond of them from a feel and performance perspective, and the dust is virtually non-existent.
        Cheers
